His name is a reference of our time, a media explosion in any work where he is mentioned, but above all, Frank Gehry is the architect and designer who took his work to the status of art, having a personal architecture where “form follows the function” paradigms were broken, challenging and provoking with its deconstructive vision, using the forms and materials as his backbone and what defines his concept.
This new form of seeing and making things, related Gehry, to prizes as the 1989 Pritzker; a winner not only for his ideas, but also for the materialization of an impacting architecture, with geometrical forms that overlap and connect, creating a perfect link between their differences, which are accentuated with the selection of different materials, and even, with unfinished nature.

And it is precisely these wonderful and unique works which have placed Gehry in the status of legend, even coming to be cataloged by many experts, as the most important architect of his time, achieving an unparalleled quality of design by playing with volumes, which finally created sculptural buildings, that achieved what he always proclaimed: “architecture must always be art”.

Simply the most iconic work of Frank, and the one that reunites each element that made Gehry a legend. With more than 24,000 m2, its conceptualization and configuration is unique, creating a sculptural structure for the exhibition of more art.
Its curvilinear exterior and projected shapes, required, due to its complexity, new work systems taken from the aerospace industry; and its finishes of fine titanium plates, achieved a perfect symbiosis with its environment, harmonizing with glass and limestone, accomplishing a so extraordinary configuration that served as an exhibition place for his different perspectives.
On the inside, the curves continue flowing, dancing around an atrium, that assists to connect the 3 levels of the building, everything through glass curtains, stairs, and titanium beams that accentuate the interior spaces in the versality of its forms, and therefore, the dispositions and perspectives.
A true artist is not defined for the gender or nature of his work, but for the conceptualization and materialization of an element that moves and influences his environment; that is why Frank Gehry will always be remembered and honored as a legend not only of design, but also of art and human ingenuity that makes us capable of creating wonders for all the senses.
The cities have to be icons. Libraries, hospitals, museums.
Within 100 years, people will see them and say:
“What is that?”. And they will think: “It´s art”.
